Megaliths

I'm experimenting with several options for interesting objects to put in some special islands, one of which you can see in the video above.
These megaliths are currently made with some twisty mathematical function interpreted as a "point cloud", and then converted into a 3D mesh with the Marching Cubes algorithm.
I think they look nice, and the method allows for some interesting shape variations, but I want to make them a bit more complex and colorful. What do you think?
