Fog and less gated navigation


This week I worked on a "fog or war" feature, that reveals the map only in the zones the player has already visited.

Also, in the spirit of reducing the gatekeeping of the game,  I'm experimenting with letting the player advance in the exploration of the map even if they don't solve a level properly; that is, if the player can enter a new island but the bridge is not bidirectional yet, the game will let them continue but will remind them with special markers in the map (circles in the above video) at the incomplete puzzles.
